Over the years of game creation, both as a developer and producer, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Small amateur prototypes, medium indie games, big AAA titles. Not necessarily in that order.
There are reoccurring patterns, good and bad, regarding project management, working practices and methodologies in general. I am starting these blog articles to share my experience of production in the video game industry. Each post will discuss an aspect of production and will include a ‘cheat sheet’ summary card.
